One of several settlements located on the Rosebud Reservation of South Dakota, Antelope had a population
of 826 according to the 2010 census. The CDP or census designated place of Antelope, has 233 housing units which gives
the cdp an average household size of nearly 3.7 persons per housing unit. Native Americans accounted for 97% of the
cdp's population. Whites accounted for 2% of the population. Hispanics accounted for 2% of the population. Economically, the
citizens of Antelope are doing poorly. Around 66% of the citizens of Antelope live below the poverty line. The cdp covers
an area of 2.3 sq. mi. It is less than three city blocks from Mission which is to the west. Below are several links to
