Badger Creek, Montana

It is located 9 miles northwest of Birch Creek and is not a cdp or town. Badger Creek is very rural. The creek with the same name, Badger Creek of course, winds it's way through this area of the Reservation. I named it after the road which winds through that area of the Blackfeet Reservation, and of course, the creek. There may be up to 40 housing units located along Badger Creek Road, Kipp Trail, Piegan Trail, and the road just south and east of Piegan Trail. However, most are located between Kipp Trail and the areas where Piegan Road branches off from Highway 89 and Badger Road also branches off from Highway 89. It covers up to 4.0 to 5.0 sq. mi. The population is probably between 100 and 125. Elevation is 3,919 feet above sea level. Badger Creek is a good location to commence a town. Alkali Lake is 10 miles to the east. Below are several google earth photos of this area of the Blackfeet Reservation.
