Rocky Boy Tribe of Chippewa Indians of Montana

Sandy Lake, Minnesota

It is located just south of Lower Red Lake. It's population is considered to be a part of Red Lake Reservation's community of Little Rock. Sandy Lake or Bing-wig Ga-mi, is located 0.7 miles west of West Little Rock and 1.9 miles west of Little Rock. I named it after a small lake situated to the northwest with the name Sandy Lake. However, Sandy Lake is actually a part of the community of Little Rock. According to the 2010 census, the population of the Red Lake Reservation community of Little Rock, is 1,208. All housing units are located in them woods which makes the locals kind of weary, especially of strangers. Below are google earth road views of Sandy Lake, Red Lake Reservation.
