Birch Creek, Montana


It is located 13 miles northeast of Heart Butte and is not a cdp or town. Birch Creek is very rural. It is located just north of the southern boundary of the Blackfeet Nation which is Birch Creek of course. There may be up to 15 housing units located within this small area which is 13 miles west of Valier, Montana. Elevation, nearest the creek, is 3,890 feet above sea level. The population is probably between 30 and 40. Birch Creek is a good location to commence a town. Alkali Lake is 6 miles to the northeast.
