This settlement is located on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation. It covers an area of 14.2 sq. mi., which means it is a very rural settlement. Busby is a CDP or census designated place which has a total population of 745 according to the 2010 census. The zip code for the cdp is 59016. Native Americans account for 91% of the cdp's population. Whites account for 6% of the cdp's population. Mixed bloods account for 1% of the population of Busby, while Hispanics account for 4% of the cdp's population. There are a total of 201 housing units in the cdp, which gives the cdp of Busby an average household size of 3.5 persons per housing unit. Around 35% of the settlements population lives below the poverty line. That obviously means that at least some of the citizens of Busby have access to nearby locations where jobs are available.
