Chippewas of the Thames


Located in Ontario, Chippewas of the Thames has a population of 762 according to 2011's census. There are 289 total housing units in this settlement. A total of 275 are lived in year round. Chippewas of the Thames has a 2.8 persons per housing unit average which is below normal for Ojibway settlements. There are no organized towns within this Ojibway Nation. All housing units are located along roads. Ojibway language has died out there. This Ojibway rural settlement is surrounded by numerous white settlements. There are 20 non Indians living there.
