Chippewas of the Thames Communities

Located in Ontario, Chippewa of the Thames communities are several yet disorganized. We have to include Oneida of the Thames and Munsee of the Thames. It's really one Reserve. Below are google earth photos of these Chippewas of the Thames Communities. There are several communities within this small Ojibway Reserve. All but one have no assigned names. Only one is Muncey which both whites and Munsee's claim is a Munsee town. That is very incorrect. It's an Ojibway town. Muncey has 20 to 25 housing units. It's population is 40 to 60. After Muncey, another small Ojibway community is located along Lower Chippewa Road. There are possibly 46 housing units at this unorganized community with no name. It has their government and public buildings including schools. It's population is probably around 120. Oneida People are really Ojibway People who relocated from River Credit Reserve (it was located where Mississauga now is), between 1840-1846, to near Southwold. Their Ojibway brethren allowed them to live with them. Their communities, which there are several of, population's are difficult to ascertain because they refused to participate in 2016's census. They have over 530 housing units. Their average household size is probably same as Chippewa of the Thames and Munsee of the Thames, which is 2.8 persons per household. Their largest settlement has 60 to 70 housing units. It's population is near 200 or higher. Another smaller community is located to their northeast. It has 15 to 20 housing units. It's population is around 40 to 60.
