Chuichu, Arizona


It is one of four settlements located on Papago Reservation. CDP or census designated place of Chuichu, has a population of 269 according to 2010 census. Native Americans accounted for 98% of it's population. Hispanics accounted for 5% of it's population. There is a total of 96 housing units in Chuichu, with 71 lived in, which gives Chuichu an average household size of 3.8 persons per housing unit. Economically this cdp is doing good. Around 22% of it's population lives below poverty line. Chuichu covers an area of 2.5 sq. mi. Elevation is 1,460 feet above sea level.
