Duck Lake, Montana
It is located over 3.5 miles east of Babb. Unlike Babb which is situated in a mountain valley, Duck Lake is open to the plains. The lake is 2.9 miles from west to east and 1.2 miles from north to south. There are quite a few housing units which are most likely cabins and cottages used by vacationers, on the lakes western and southern shores. There is a permanent population but i don't know what it is. The lake is surrounded by a forest on the west and north. It is a beautiful location. Elevation is 5,077 feet above sea level. Duck Lake is a good location to commence a town. Below are several google earth photos of this area of the Blackfeet Reservation.
