East Little Wolf, Minnesota


It is located about a half a mile east and northeast of Little Wolf Lake. This settlement is located 1.25 miles from a lake known as Little Wolf Lake. Since this settlement is not a cdp, city, town, or village i thought i name it after that lake it is situated east of which is Little Wolf Lake, excluding lake of course. East Little Wolf or Wa-ban Ma-ig-ga-niiz, is within Pike Bay Township. According to a 2010 census, population of Pike Bay Township is 1,610. Indians make up 69% of Pike Bay Townships population but when including Mexicans and mixed bloods, it's 73%. It is made up of a cluster of housing units located along 65th Ave NW and 164th St. NW. There are around 40 to 45 housing units in East Little Wolf. Around 25 are mobile homes. Population is probably between 80 and 120. It has an elevation of 1,330 feet above sea level.
