Located in northeastern Ontario about 140 miles northeast of Lake Superior and around 75 miles northeast of the Ojibway settlements located near Chapleau, the Chippewa Treaty 9 Reservation settlement of Flying Post has a population of 1 living in their community. Over 200 live away from Flying Post. I know nothing about this settlement other then they signed Treaty 9. I don't know why only one person lives there while 208 live elsewhere. They have their office in Nipigon. Their leaders need to establish a settlement. Nipigon is nearly 290 miles to the west. Something is wrong. Below are links to google earth pictures of the Chippewa Treaty 9 Reservation land near Flying Post.
