Hyborg


Located along the northwestern Shores of huge Lake Winnipeg, is the Chippewa Treaty 9 Reservation settlement of Hyborg. The population (2011 census) is 279. Hyborg's population is included under Grand Rapids population. There are 109 housing units in Hyborg (Grand Rapids) which gives the settlement an average household size of 2.6 persons per housing unit. Indians make up two thirds of the population of Hyborg (Grand Rapids). East Grand Rapids or Misipawistik, is just across the Saskatchewan River to the east.
