It is one of the many communities of the Black Hills Indian Reservation. I have no idea what their population is. They do have a government however. Since further information about the demographics of Ione Rancheria is not available, stats can't be included. At their website they claim they are landless which they are are not. They actually believe what the United States tells them. Their main location seems to be near the community of either Plymouth, California or Ione, California. Ione Rancheria is located within the land cession number 302. It is linked to the Reservation set aside from land cession number 302. The Reservation number is 301. However, Ione Rancheria is really within the boundaries of the Black Hills Reservation. All of the Sierra Nevada Mountains including the foothills, are within the boundaries of the Black Hills Reservation.
