Jans Bay


Located in central Saskatchewan, about 65 miles east of Alberta, Jans Bay has a population of 181 according to 2006's census. Below are links to google earth photos of Jans Bay, Saskatchewan. 2016's census reported that Jans Bay has a population of 151. The community has 37 lived in housing units and an average household size of 4.4 persons per housing unit. All of Jans Bay is Ojibway. Around 55 speak Cree which Lewis and Clark named Corrupted Ojibway, at Jans Bay. The small village is located along the southern shores of Canoe Lake. The larger village of Canoe Narrows is 2.2 miles or 3.5 kilometers northwest of this small Ojibway village.
