Kawbawgam, Michigan

This Ojibway community is located southeast of Marquette, Michigan. Below are links to google earth photos of Kawbawgam. This community belongs to L'Anse Reservation. However, it is located 54.1 miles or 87.1 kilometers southeast of L'Anse or Keeweena Bay Reserve. Lake Superiors south shores are located less than 1/2 a mile or less than 0.70 kilometers from Kawbawgam. Using google earth i counted around 46 housing units yet this Ojibway community may have many more housing units. Population of Kawbawgam (this community has no name i know of so i named it after Lake Kawbawgam which is slightly to it's south) is probably near 110 yet probably higher.
