Kinonjeoshtegon


Located in central Manitoba along the western shores of Lake Winnipeg, the Chippewa Treaty 9 Reservation settlement of Ki-non-je-o-shteg-on (aka Jackhead) has a population of 345 according to the 2011 census. The community has 80 housing units and an average household size of 4.3 persons per housing unit. Around 100 continue to speak Anishinabe at Ki-non-jay-yo-shteg-on.
