Lake St. Martin


Located in south central Manitoba, between Lakes Manitoba and Winnipeg, the Chippewa Treaty 9 Reservation settlement of Lake St. Martin (it is also known as The Narrows) has a population of 1,431 (it is probably lower than the 1,431, 2011 census stat) according to the 2011 census. The community has 130 housing units and an average household size of 11.0 persons per housing unit. Around 220 continue to speak Anishinabe at Lake St. Martin.
