Long Lake, Minnesota


It is located in Little Elbow Township which has a population of 161 according to a 2010 census. Indians make up 71% of Little Elbow Townships population but 77% when including mixed bloods. A small lake known as Long Lake, is located about a mile south. It's (Long Lake) not in Little Elbow Township. Housng units are located along both sides of MN-113, between where MN-113 and County Road 4 merge and T256. A distance of 3 miles. Housing units number around 22. Around 11 or 12 are mobile homes. Tulaby Creek is slightly south of MN-113. Population of Long Lake or in Ojibway Gir-nos Ga-miiz is probably between 45 and 65. WER leaders must organize this community, name it and construct new housing units, especially just north of road T258, near it's extreme east end.
