Our goal is to gain Tribal Recognition at Blackfeet Reservation, Crow-Northern Cheyenne Reservation, Flathead Reservation and Fort Belknap Reservation and Federal Recognition for Rocky Boys Tribe of Chippewa Indians at Great Falls with Reservation. Lower Brule, Lower Brule Reservation
It is the only Native American settlement on the Lower Brule Reservation. The CDP or census designated place of Lower Brule, had a population of 599 according to the 2000 census. Native Americans accounted for 94% of the cdp's population. Whites accounted for 4% of the population.
