Magnetawan, Ontario

English then Canadian leaders, refused to honor treaty agreements pertaining to this small Ojibway community which is located within a large Ojibway Reserve. Below are google earth photos of Magnetawan which is a small Ojibway town. Using google earth i counted over 40 housing units at Magnetawan. According to 2016's census, MR has an average household size of 3.0 persons per household. Population of Magnetawan is probably around 120. Only a few people speak Ojibway at Magnetawan. In 1850's Robinson-Huron Treaty Text they wrote "Maganetawang." I have no idea what it means. Can't find it in dictionaries!
