Middle Village, Menominee Reservation


One of five Anishinabe settlements on the Wisconsin Menominee Reservation, the CDP or census designated place of Middle Villlage, had a population of 281 according to the 2010 census. Native Americans accounted for 94% of the cdp's population. Whites accounted for 6% of the population. Hispanics accounted for 5% of the population of Middle Village, Wisconsin. There is a total of 133 housing units in the cdp, which gives the cdp an average household size of 2.7 persons per housing unit. Economically the cdp's citizens are doing not so well. Around 42% of the citizens of the cdp live below the poverty line. Middle Village covers an area of 6.9 sq. mi., which means it is spread out. Elevation is 1,020 feet above sea level.
