Mission Point, Flathead Reservation
This tiny settlement is located in the extreme southern part of the Mission Valley or southern Flathead Valley, near the Mission Resevoir. I discovered this settlement using google earth. I have no idea what the settlements name is so i thought i name it Mission Point. I do not know if the settlement has anything to do with Mission Dam which created Mission Resevoir, or if it could be some sort of resort. Using google earth i counted around 40 or more housing units in Mission Point. It covers around 0.3 sq. mi. I would estimate the population of Mission Point to be between 100 and 125. I do not know of the demographics of this settlement. Mission Point is but only three blocks away from Mission Resevoir. Surrounding the tiny settlement are numerous farms. St. Ignatius is less than three miles to the west. Below are three links to google earth pictures of Mission Point, Flathead Reservation.
