Rocky Boy Tribe of Chippewa Indians of Montana needs funding to establish offices at Blackfeet Reservation, Crow-Northern Cheyenne Reservation, Flathead Reservation, Fort Belknap Reservation and at Great Falls, Montana where Hill 57 Reservation is located. Our goal is to gain Tribal Recognition at Blackfeet Reservation, Crow-Northern Cheyenne Reservation, Flathead Reservation and Fort Belknap Reservation and Federal Recognition for Rocky Boys Tribe of Chippewa Indians at Great Falls with Reservation. North Fork Rancheria


It is one of the many communities of the Black Hills Indian Reservation. North Fork Rancheria is located along the foothills of the western portion of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Big Sandy and Cold Springs are located about 15 to 20 miles to the south. According to the 2000 census, the population of North Fork Rancheria was 9. Indians account for 5 of the population as do Mexicans, and mixed bloods 4. There is a race identification problem at North Fork Rancheria. There are 2 housing units. The average household size is 5.0 persons per housing unit. Elevation is 3,167 feet above sea level. North Fork Rancheria is located within the land cession number 279. It is within the Reservation set aside from land cession number 279. The Reservation numbers are 275, 276, 277, and 278. Below is a google earth photo of North Fork Rancheria.
