Rocky Boy Tribe of Chippewa Indians of Montana needs funding to establish offices at Blackfeet Reservation, Crow-Northern Cheyenne Reservation, Flathead Reservation, Fort Belknap Reservation and at Great Falls, Montana where Hill 57 Reservation is located. Our goal is to gain Tribal Recognition at Blackfeet Reservation, Crow-Northern Cheyenne Reservation, Flathead Reservation and Fort Belknap Reservation and Federal Recognition for Rocky Boys Tribe of Chippewa Indians at Great Falls with Reservation. North Little Grand Rapids


Located east of Lake Winnipeg in eastern Manitoba, the Chippewa Treaty 9 Reservation settlement of North Little Grand Rapids has a population of 1,234 according to the 2011 census. Actually North Little Grand Rapids population is included with the population of Little Grand Rapids as are it's housing units and language. The community has 215 housing units and an average household size of 5.9 persons per housing unit. Around 680 continue to speak Anishinabe at North Little Grand Rapids. In Anishinabe, North Little Grand Rapids would be pronounced as Gi-way-din Ses Git-chay Ba-wi-tig. North Little Grand Rapids is an isolated community which depends on planes and possibly a winter road for food and other supplies to be brought in. North Little Grand Rapids is 0.75 (three quarters of a mile) miles northwest of Little Grand Rapids. Their airport is to the north.
