Ojibway, Kansas

Ojibway leaders of Kansas, agreed to allow 1,000's of Ojibway People to settle within their Kansas land after the United States broke treaty and illegally eradicated the 5 million acre Ojibway Reservation in Iowa, Minnesota and Missouri, in 1846. Below are links to google earth photos of this unincorporated Ojibway community in Kansas. Since it is unincorporated, it has no name. I named this community after Ojibway People. We can't find out the demographics of this community so i used google earth to count how many housing units are there. Depending on if the housing units are duplexes or triplexes, this Ojibway community has from 140 to 150 housing units. If the average household size is 3.0 persons per household, than this Ojibway Kansas community has a population of around 420. There are 3 distinct housing unit areas. One is located on L4 Lane. Another is located on Buffalo Drive, Pheasant Run and Quail Ct. The other, where the google earth photos are from, is located on 156th Lane, K Road and Meadow Lane.
