Pauma-Yuima


It is one of the many communities of the Black Hills Indian Reservation. Pauma-Yuima is located 7.9 miles northwest of La Jolla Amago and 5.7 miles southeast of Pala. Pauma-Yuima is located in a beautiful mountain valley. According to the 2000 census, Pauma-Yuima has a population of 186. Indians accounted for 158 of Pauma-Yuima's population of 186. Mexicans accounted for 31 of Pauma-Yuima's population. Elevation is 1,057 feet above sea level. There are 48 housing units in Pauma-Yuima. The average household size is 3.8 persons per housing unit.
