Peigan Crossing, Montana

Located about nine miles north of Babb, is Peigan Crossing. The tiny settlement is located a stones throw from the Canadian border. The settlement looks new and is probably the home for the employees who work at the nearby border station. I do not know the name of the settlement and thought i name it after a certain Blackfeet term. The population is difficult to calculate as a result of the site being excluded as a settlement of its own. Peigan Crossing's population is included among Babb's zip code. The 2010 census reported a population of Babb's zip code at 460. Babb's zip code area covers 205 sq. mi. Whites make up 144 of Babb's zip code area population, while Native Americans including Hispanics, make up 329. As for Peigan Crossing, i haven't the slightest idea what the demographics are. The settlement could be predominantly Native American or white. There are up to 25 or more housing units in the small settlement. I would estimate the population to be around 75 to 100.
