Pelican Narrows


Located in north central Saskatchewan about 40 miles west of Manitoba, the Chippewa Treaty 9 Reservation settlement of Pelican Narrows (it is a part of Peter Ballantyne) has a population of 6,090 according to the 2011 census. The community has 1,210 housing units and an average household size of 5.0 persons per housing unit. Around 3,345 continue to speak Anishinabe at Pelican Narrows.
