Pinaymootang

Located in central Manitoba, between Lake Manitoba and Lake Winnipeg, the Chippewa Treaty 9 Reservation settlement of Pinaymootang (aka Fairford) has a population of 1,355 according to the 2011 census. The community has 235 housing units and an average household size of 5.7 persons per housing unit. Around 355 continue to speak Anishinabe at Pinaymootang. I don't know what Pinaymootang means in Anishinabe. Pin-ay-moo-tang is located on the south side of Fairford River. Below are links to pictures of the Chippewa Treaty 9 Reservation settlement of Pinaymootang.
