It is one of four settlements located on the huge Papago Reservation of Arizona. The CDP or census designated place of Pisinemo, has a population of 237 according to the 2000 census. Native Americans accounted for 97% of the population. Whites accounted for 2% of the population. Hispanics accounted for 1% of the cdp's population. There is a total of 87 housing units in Pisinemo, which gives the cdp an average household size of 2.8 persons per housing unit. Economically the cdp is doing badly. Around 50% of the population lives below the poverty line. Pisinemo covers an area of 1.7 sq. mi. Elevation is 1,890 feet above sea level.
