Porcupine, Standing Rock-Cheyenne River Reservation

The Anishinabe-Dakota settlement of Porcupine is located in Sioux County, North Dakota, very near the Cannonball River. I don't know the demographics of this settlement but the population was 146 according to the 2010 census. Using google earth i counted around 50 or so housing units in the small community and some in the surrounding farms. Most of the housing units are located in the small community of Porcupine, North Dakota. They be around 45 or so. Though the 2010 census reported that Porcupine, North Dakota has a population of 146, it may be as high as 400. There almost no businesses in the community which means the settlement is going through an economic crisis. Elevation is 1,810 feet above sea level. Below are several links to photographs of the Anishinabe-Dakota settlement of Porcupine, Standing Rock-Cheyenne River Reservation.
