The Ranch

It is one of the many communities of the Black Hills Indian Reservation. It is located 2.8 miles southeast of Cahuilla and 1.5 miles northwest of South Cahuilla. Anza is located 2.1 miles to the northeast. With a name like The Ranch, you would suspect this settlement to be some sort of resort which it could be. The Ranch has between 10 and 15 housing units. It's population is included with that of Cahuilla's which is 154, as are it's housing units. Cahuilla has 48 total housing units. Indians account for 116 of Cahuilla's population of 154. Mexicans account for 26. The Ranch has a population of between 20 and 40. Elevation is 3,810 feet above sea level. Below are several google earth photos of The Ranch region.
