Rocky Bay, Biinjitiwabik First Nation

Located along the extreme southeastern shores of huge Lake Nipigon, is the Chippewa settlement known as Rocky Bay 1, or Biinjitiwaabik. Using google earth, i counted what appears to be around 80 or more housing units in the small Chippewa settlement, but an online Canadian website states that the settlement has only 69 housing units, of which only 59 are occupied. They gave the settlements (rocky bay) a population of 154. However, if the settlemnent does have 80 or so housing units and all are occupied as i suspect, the population of biinjitiwabik (Rocky Bay 1) may be between 240 and 320. Below are several links to pictures of the Chippewa settlement of Rocky Bay, Ontario.
