Royal City, Colville Reservation


It is located well south of the Colville Reservation and some 25 miles south of Othello, Washington. Royal City has a population of 2,140 according to the 2010 census. Native Americans including mixed bloods and Hispanics, make up 89% of the city's population. Whites make up 10% of the population of Royal City. The city has a total of 494 housing units which gives Royal City an average household size of 4.1 persons per housing unit. The citizens of Royal City are not doing so well economically. Nearly 27% of the city's citizens live below the poverty line. The city covers 1.3 sq. mi. Zip code is 99357. Elevation is 1,063 feet above sea level.
