Signor, Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation

Located in the extreme southwestern part of the Chippewa Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation, is the small Chippewa settlement of Signor. Using google earth, i counted what appears to be around 20 or more housing units in the small community. Since Chippewa settlements tend to have household size averages between 3.0 and 4.0 persons per housing unit, the population of Signor may be between 60 and 80. Elevation of the small Chippewa settlement is 1,270 feet above sea level. Below are several links to pictures of the Chippewa settlement of Signor, Wisconsin.
