Rocky Boy Tribe of Chippewa Indians of Montana needs funding to establish offices at Blackfeet Reservation, Crow-Northern Cheyenne Reservation, Flathead Reservation, Fort Belknap Reservation and at Great Falls, Montana where Hill 57 Reservation is located. Our goal is to gain Tribal Recognition at Blackfeet Reservation, Crow-Northern Cheyenne Reservation, Flathead Reservation and Fort Belknap Reservation and Federal Recognition for Rocky Boys Tribe of Chippewa Indians at Great Falls with Reservation. South Cass Lake, Leech Lake Reservation


It is located about a half a mile directly south of Cass Lake and just west of Pike Bay. South Cass Lake covers about 0.35 sq. mi. It has about 35 housing units which are located along North Street, South Street, 62nd Ave Northwest, 156th Street Northwest, and Heartland State Trail. It is located in Pike Bay Township which has a population of 1,610 according to the 2010 census. Indians make up 69% of the population of Pike Bay Township but when including Mexicans and mixed bloods, it's 73%. The population of South Cass Lake is probably between 100 and 125.
