Southend


Located in northeastern Saskatchewan along the southwestern shores of Reindeer Lake, the Chippewa Treaty 9 Reservation settlement of Southend (it's a part of Peter Ballantyne) has a population of 904 according to the 2011 census. The community has 183 housing units and an average household size of 4.9 persons per housing unit. Around 460 continue to speak corrupted Anishinabe and Anishinabe at Southend.
