Rocky Boy Tribe of Chippewa Indians of Montana needs funding to establish offices at Blackfeet Reservation, Crow-Northern Cheyenne Reservation, Flathead Reservation, Fort Belknap Reservation and at Great Falls, Montana where Hill 57 Reservation is located. Our goal is to gain Tribal Recognition at Blackfeet Reservation, Crow-Northern Cheyenne Reservation, Flathead Reservation and Fort Belknap Reservation and Federal Recognition for Rocky Boys Tribe of Chippewa Indians at Great Falls with Reservation. St. Ignatius, Montana


When including the mixed blood and Hispanic population, the Flathead Reservation town of St. Ignatius is predominantly Native American. Native Americans make up 42.5% of St. Ignatius population according to the 2010 census. Mixed bloods and Hispanics make up 12.8% of the towns population. Whites make up 48.3% of the towns population. The population discrepancy is about the Hispanic population conspiracy. The 2010 census reported a population of 842 for St. Ignatius. There are 328 housing units in the town which gives St. Ignatius an average housing unit size of near 2.5 persons per housing unit. The town covers 0.5 sq. mi. Elevation is 2,940 feet above sea level. Economically, St. Ignatius is doing alright. About 19% of the towns citizens live below the poverty line.
