The Ranch, White Earth Reservation

It is very difficult to learn information about this cdp (Census Designated Place) of the White Earth Reservation. The Ranch appears to be a mobile home park with several large buildings to the east and south. The cdp may be some kind of settlement which handles certain care needs for the citizens of the White Earth Reservation. It covers 0.310 sq. mi. The housing units which number 9, are located along BIA Road 20. All are mobile homes. According to the 2010 census, the population of the cdp of The Ranch, is only 9. That be as many as the number of housing units in the cdp. Native Americans account for 89% of the population of The Ranch. This settlement may have a larger population. However, the large buildings adjacent to the cdp could indicate the population is correct. The Ranch is located 4 miles to the northwest of Naytahwaush. Elevation is 1,444 feet above sea level. Below are a few google earth photos of The Ranch, White Earth Reservation.
