Waterhen Lake


Located in north central Saskatchewan about 63 miles east of Cold Lake and Alberta, the Chippewa Treaty 9 Reservation settlement of Waterhen Lake has a population of 864 according to the 2011 census. The community has 200 housing units and an average household size of 4.6 persons per housing unit. Around 350 continue to speak Anishinabe at Waterhen Lake.
