West Ball Club Lake, Minnesota


This small Leech Lake Reservation settlement is primarily located along County Highway 39 and Forest Road. It extends for two miles along County Highway 39 and for nearly a mile along Forest Road. West Ball Club Lake is located over one mile north of Ball Club and just west of Ball Club Lake. This small LLR settlement has around 20 housing units with nearly all being mobile homes. It is located within Bowstring Lake Unorganized Territory which has a population of 1,166 according to a 2010 census. 61% of this unorganized territories population is Indian but 65% when including Mexicans and mixed bloods. About half of Bowstring Lake Unorganized Territory's area is within Leech Lake Reservation. Population of West Ball Club Lake may be between 40 and 60. Elevation is 1,314 feet above sea level.
