West Bay, Ontario


This small Ojibway town is located on Manitoulin Island (Ghosts Island) within Lake Huron. Below are links to google earth photos of West Bay, Ontario. There's actually two portions of this West Bay Town. A north and south. According to 2016's census, the population of West Bay is 884. There are 485 housing units within West Bay, with 386 lived in which indicates whites are being allowed to invade and colonize this Ojibway town. Most whites probably live in south West Bay. Average household size is 2.3 persons per household which is below normal for Ojibway towns. Around 175 people speak Ojibway at West Bay Town.
