Rocky Boy Tribe of Chippewa Indians of Montana needs funding to establish offices at Blackfeet Reservation, Crow-Northern Cheyenne Reservation, Flathead Reservation, Fort Belknap Reservation and at Great Falls, Montana where Hill 57 Reservation is located. Our goal is to gain Tribal Recognition at Blackfeet Reservation, Crow-Northern Cheyenne Reservation, Flathead Reservation and Fort Belknap Reservation and Federal Recognition for Rocky Boys Tribe of Chippewa Indians at Great Falls with Reservation. West Flambeau Lake, Lac du Flambeau Reservation
Located on the Chippewa Lac du Flambeau Reservation, the Chippewa settlement of West Flambeau Lake is located along the northwestern and western shores of Flambeau Lake. It is considered to be a part of the cdp of Lac du Flambeau. There are up to 25 housing units in the settlement. The housing units are located along Old Indian Village Road and Reservation Highway 32. Elevation is 1,595 feet above sea level. The population is probably between 75 and 100.
