White Earth Lake, White Earth Reservation

It is located along the northwestern shores of White Earth Lake. It is about four miles to the northeast of the community of White Earth. Just to the south of White Earth Lake is Cedar Crest Resort. On the north of White Earth Lake is New Horizon Resort and Lodge. On the east of White Earth Lake are about 40 housing units. However, they are probably owned by non Indians or a part of some resort. There are about 12 housing units located in White Earth Lake (Wa-vi Ah-ki Za-ga-i-gan). About a third of the housing units are mobile homes. The population may be between 35 and 45. Elevation is 1,494 feet above sea level. I don't know the demographics of this cluster of housing units. It is within Maple Grove Township which has a population of 405 and is 2/3 Indian. Below are several google earth photos of White Earth Lake, White Earth Reservation.
