Rocky Boy Tribe of Chippewa Indians of Montana needs funding to establish offices at Blackfeet Reservation, Crow-Northern Cheyenne Reservation, Flathead Reservation, Fort Belknap Reservation and at Great Falls, Montana where Hill 57 Reservation is located. Our goal is to gain Tribal Recognition at Blackfeet Reservation, Crow-Northern Cheyenne Reservation, Flathead Reservation and Fort Belknap Reservation and Federal Recognition for Rocky Boys Tribe of Chippewa Indians at Great Falls with Reservation. White River, Rosebud Reservation


It is another Rosebud District settlement located in Mellette County. The population of White River is 598. That is according to the 2000 census. Native Americans including mixed bloods and Hispanics, make up 49% of the city's population. Whites make up 51% of the city's population. About 25% of the city's population lives below the poverty line. There are a total of 252 housing units in White River. The city covers 0.5 sq. mi. Elevation is 2,136 feet above sea level.
