Acho Dene Koe First Nation



This mixed Ojibway-Inuit band or community, lives in Northwest Territories. Their community is one of Dehcho Territories communities. Their located at and near Fort Liard, Northwest Territories. They signed 1921's treaty 11 with Canada. Many Montana Ojibway's were relocated to this location in 1921-1922. Their 2016 population is from Fort Liard. It is 500 according to 2016's census. They have a total of 210 housing units with 164 lived in year round. Average household size is 3.0 persons per household. Around 80 continue to speak corrupted Ojibway at Fort Liard. Dehcho Territory covers 10,000s of sq. mi.
