Anahim First Nations
This Chippewa Treaty 8 Reservation community is located in south central British Columbia. They are Chippewa and Dene (Athabascan) with an admixture of Asian. An Asian people from either China or from the Philippines, invaded western North America centuries before the white onslaught and were defeated by the Chippewa soldiers. The population of this First Nation is 565 according to the 2011 census. That does not include those Anahim who are also known as Tletinqoxtin, citizens who live in white communities.
