Beaver Lake First Nation

Located in east-central Alberta, the Anishinabe Beaver Lake First Nation has a total population of 941, but the great majority of the citizens of this first nation apparently live off-reserve. Only 329 actually live on the Reserves set aside, while the remainder live off the Reserve or on other Indian Reserves. There are two Reserves which make up the beaver lake first nation. The first, and largest, is Beaver Lake 131 which covers 6,145 hectares or 15,184 acres, while the other, much smaller, covers only 96 hectares or only 237 acres.
