Burns Lake First Nation
This Chippewa Treaty 8 Reservation community is located in north central British Columbia. They are an admixture of Anishinabe and Dene with some Asian also. An Asian people from either China or from the Philippines, invaded western North America centuries before the white onslaught and were defeated by the Chippewa soldiers. The population of this First Nation (Burns Lake) is 44. That does not include those Burns Lake citizens who live in white communities. They are also known as T'sil Kaz Koh First Nation, or just the Sil Kaz Koh.
