Dalles First Nation


This Ojibway Reserve is located 6.0 miles or 9.7 kilometers north of Kenora, Ontario. Dalles First Nation is a part of Lake of the Woods Reserve which is a part of Leech Lake Reservation. Their on-Reserve population is 194 according to a 2016 census. They have 60 dwellings with 57 lived in. Average household size is 3.5 persons per household. Around 20 speak Ojibway there. Dalles First Nation are signatories to Treaty 3 which was signed on October 3, 1873. They are Lake of the Woods northern most settlement.
