Eabametoong First Nation


This Ojibway Kasba Reservation community known as Eabametoong (it's pronounced as Ah-be-met-ong or Ah-ba-met for short), has a population of 1,014 according to a 2016 census. First Nation of Eabametoong is located in northern Ontario. Many continue to speak Ojibway at Ah-ba-met. According to 2016's census, around 280 people speak Ojibway there. That be about a third of their population.
